In Jan 2021, the mentor mentee program involves All Cosmos Industries Sdn Bhd (ACISB) as a mentor who will provide advice and guidance technical in addition to providing the needs of agricultural technology especially in aspects of fertilization.
The farmers were mentees who will run paddy cultivation activities. The idea for this program will basically be more focused in the aspect of quality fertilization and at the same time, increase the income of farmers through an enhancement in rice crop yields, hence provide assurance of a continuous supply of food.
Through the program, a soil treatment process will be carried out. Consumption beneficial local microbes can restore the fertility of the soil in which the microbes. This will serve as a fertilizing agent. On the same day, flying drones has been utilized to spray and spread the fertilizer to paddy in order to reveal the latest technology to farmers.
The product that will be used is the result of a joint study by MARDI and ACISB, namely Realstrong N-Bio Booster. In addition, that is, the use of RealStrong 11/11/11/2MgO bio-chemical fertilizer will help adding organic content to the soil and will help to improve the efficiency of plants in absorbing nutrients.
