With a proven model of transferring technology on biomass management with ESPEK Sdn. Bhd. And Sawit Kinabalu Sdn. Bhd, whereby successfully convert oil palm waste such as empty fruit bunches (EFB) and decanter cake into high quality bio-fertilizer and further value added with nutrient provision microbes and bio-control microbes in combating Ganoderma disease.

On the other hand, Lignocellulose is the main component of cellulosic biomass material and also the most abundant organic substances in Malaysia which currently utilize for low value product and mulching in the field.

With this technology, we can add biomass value and attracting investment in different industries, not only in downstream but also upstream process. Lignocellulose hydrolysis technology may work together with the existing lignocellulose applications in the agriculture and forestry industry and effectively revitalize the local agriculture and forestry industry, enhance rural employment, and boost economic development.

The technology can also provide raw materials for the biomass fuel industry as well as chemical, food, textile and other industries at the downstream and establish an industry chain of innovative lignocellulosic applications.
